Please read this post called "Down in the Dumps http://dearlittleauntie.blogspot.com/2011/03/down-in-dumps.html

I do believe that the sister meant a different kind of whispers, too. I think she meant the kinds of whispers that contain maybe blasphemous things...just random thoughts that come, May Allah protect us.

I found another good link here:
http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?69544-How-to-overcome-Waswas-(shaythans-whispers)-in-worshipLittle Auntiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16279010843700950235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8458157138768641619.post-73653522524277426072011-10-24T17:50:45.133-07:002011-10-24T17:50:45.133-07:00AsSalaamuAlaikum

But we are humans and that’s why we have been bought to this world. We will make mistakes, we just need to remember the lessons learnt from them and keep trying. It’s the intention of the Mu-min that matters most. Realizing a fault and looking for a way to correct yourself is the biggest step. And may Allah(swt) reward you for that. Don’t think you are not a Muslim or anything like that though. Al-Hasan-al-Basree(ra) said: “A believer will always be critical of himself in his food, his drink, and his speech. A sinner will not criticize himself.” So a believer will always be cautious of his actions and thoughts.
Though, peace of the heart is best achieved by zikr-Allah. Allah(swt) has said in the Quran: “Verily! Only in the Zikr of Allah will your heart find peace." (Surah 13: verse 29) These are just little tips I use to help myself, inshaAllah it will be helpful to you too. May Allah(swt) make things easier for you Sister and jazakillah for sharing. Sometimes I feel like I'm n...loved the answer.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not a good Muslim nor will I ever be one? Like It's not possible at all for me. Like I am fake whenever I try to be a better Muslim. And that really discourages me from trying better in my ibaadah. So those thoughts are definitely from the Shaitaan. They're telling me to give up. :(

Then,I think of all of the great people of the past, may AllahSWt be pleased with them. And I get jealous, that I can't ever change myself like they excelled in changing themselves. And that gets me depressed. But then I have to remind myself that AllahSWT made me capable of doing whatever I am already capable of. Plus, we are insaan and we are made to worship AllahSWT. And that's our fitrah. We can adapt and constantly change ourselves for the better by the will of AllahSWT. I have to remind myself that, I can change myself inshAllah for the better. That just because I can't do a good act now, doesn't mean it will always be impossible for me.

It's impressive how we can get stronger and what was impossible before is suddenly very simple to accomplish. i.e. memorizing Quran, after you have memorized it, it's so much simpler to recite and you can add on even more ayahs. :)Smishaynoreply@blogger.com
